These Blanks are great!! So many options and ideas....so much FUN! I use them mainly for necklaces; as a base for a large, stunning piece of beadwork. Just use Lacy's Stiff Stuff to do your beadwork on, Glue to the front of the blank, back with Deerskin and then sew the edges together with whatever edge stitch you like.
These have small holes at each end if you want to use them for stringing; I usually just lay a long piece of Acculon along the back of the blank right before I glue the Deerskin backing on, capturing the Acculon between the layers.....works great!! Of course, you can use these to glue gems, shells, and other pretties to, use them for whatever Art they inspire in you!!
I'm starting a piece using one of these blanks as a base for a Tiara........Can't wait to get it done!!! I'll add a picture of it when I get it all finished; until then I have included a picture of a piece I did using one of these blanks......sorry about the poor picture quality; it was taken before we got our good camera, lol!
Don't forget, none of our cuff bracelet blanks are "finished" they are NOT intended to be used "as-is"; they will NOT be pretty and shiny, they WILL have minor scuffs, dings and/or scratches on their surfaces and the edges have not been pre-sanded. Our blanks are meant to be used by you to create your own works of art by covering them or finishing them however you choose. :)
